OVERVIEW
CEO Jeremiah Romo is what we in the biz call 'passion personified'! I mean this man is as tenacious as they make em.
I left our first meeting willing to run through a brick wall for this man. His willingness to push the envelope and do whatever it took to evolve his company was unparalleled...and inspiring. With the snazzy rebrand of his marketing agency, he needed the right words to compliment the upgraded color scheme and website.
His main goals were:
- Maintain website's strong internet presence (fantastic SEO)
- Update website copy to feel more modern and welcoming to potential clients
- Create a site map that helps with navigation and (more importantly) makes sense
- Convert site visitors on homepage/service pages
So, with that, I understood the mission objectives. It was time to strap in and prepare for take off!

BIG BRAND ENERGY (BBE)
With their emphatic rocket ship logo and bold colorway, it was clear these guys were just exuding Big Brand Energy (or BBE, as we call it). I had to make sure the copy was just as bold & vociferous as their homepage. That said, I didn't want to be loud for the sake of noise. Nah! IMPROZ Marketing was about power, fun, and dropping knowledge. The copy had to be enjoyable enough to keep reading but concise enough to answer questions immediately.
My goal was simple, but tough: make the website a destination for potential clients — not just a pitstop. Create a journey worth taking. (Rocket makes more sense now, huh?)
HERE'S HOW IT GOT DONE:
ROCKETS & SPACE ≠ ROBOTS
First things first, I took a deep dive into figuring out who was actually visiting their site. What type of wandering, site explorers were snooping around their services pages? Turns out, it wasn't AI or robots (shocker, I know). They were real people with real feelings. Mostly small business owners who needed to elevate their marketing and didn't know where to start.
The problem? The website was throwing around words like it was a boardroom meeting, not a chat with your buds. And though they had a couple of C-suite clients, they had no business using words like 'synergy' and 'financial solutions'.
THE IMPROZ PROCESS™
The special sauce behind IMPROZ Marketing is their relationship with their clients and their process. They really work WITH their clients to come up with the 'perfect' marketing plan. The existing website copy lacked this emphasis on the agency's collaborative spirit — downplaying the client's crucial role (and involvement) in strategy development. I wanted to put this at the forefront of the copy; I made sure any site visitors knew IMPROZ was along for the ride every step of the way.
